I am the Library. I am neither walls nor shelves, nor even the books that stand in rows. I am the wisdom of the universe captured and arranged for you. I am an open door. ENTER...                     The Library Information Centre at Sacred Heart Catholic High School is truly  the heart of student activity with  more than 17,000 books, including subscriptions to over 20 magazines and three daily newspapers.   A student lab of 31 networked computers with  internet access, CD-ROM database programs, and links to stations around the school are available for school related research.   The library also contains two multimedia stations with a scanner and two CD/DVD  burners.   An LCD projector can be booked for in-class seminar presentations and a TV with VHS/DVD is available for students to preview material for class presentations.A photocopier, is also available for students' school assignments.  Assisted technology can be accessed through the library when necessary.          The library is also home to a growing reference section which will soon include virtual reference books.  The Teacher-Librarian partners with many teachers to teach a variety of information study and research skills to students of all grades and subject areas.  Library staff is always available to assist with personal study, research, and reading requests.    Staff Ms. C.
